It was worthy of shouting from the rooftops! When a student walks through the door and announces that they have identified their writing intention it further strengthens the link between the classroom and the wider world. It's such a buzz when kids see the value of bringing their ideas in with them, rather than merely thinking at the commencement of the workshop. It is evidence of rehearsal! Your writing has shone light on something vitally important.
